Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Muza Contractors (“we”), operating as Direct Water Heaters DMV, collects through directwaterheatersdmv.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. If you never submit the quote form, we never receive your personal information.
When you submit a quote request, we receive:
- Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and service address.
- Job details — the type of water heater you have, its fuel source, brand, model number and age, what you're looking for, and anything you describe about the problem.
- Conversion details, if you're switching systems — electrical panel size, distance to the panel, and where the unit sits.
- Files you upload — photos of your unit, and any competitor quote you choose to share.
- Your preference for a remote estimate or an in-person visit, and any requested visit time.
We do not ask for and never want your Social Security number, bank details, or card numbers through this website.
Why we collect it
To prepare your estimate and to contact you about it. That's the whole purpose. Specifically, we use it to price the job accurately, to reach you by phone, text or email about your request, to schedule work, and to pull permits where required.
Who else can see it
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We never will.
A small number of service providers necessarily handle it in order for the site to work:
- Netlify hosts the website and processes form submissions, including any files you upload. Your submission is stored in our Netlify account.
- Google delivers submission notifications to our business Gmail account, and serves the web fonts used on this site.
- Suppliers and inspectors, where a specific job requires it — for example, giving a jurisdiction the service address on a permit application.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site — which pages get visited and how many visitors go on to request a quote. This tells us how our advertising is performing. It records general usage patterns, not the contents of your quote request. You can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
Contacting you
When you give us your phone number or email, you're asking us to get back to you about your request, and we may reach you by phone call, text message, or email. Message and data rates may apply. If you'd rather we stopped, tell us — reply STOP to a text, or contact us using the details below, and we'll stop.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and their attachments while we're working with you, and afterwards as business records — warranty claims, permit history and tax records all depend on them. If you'd like your information deleted, contact us and we'll remove what we're not legally required to retain.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. Contact us and we'll help — there's no charge, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and submissions travel encrypted to our providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us sensitive personal information — financial account numbers or government ID — through this website.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
