Our price-beat guarantee

Show us a written quote from another licensed contractor for the same job, and we'll do it for at least 20% less.

We mean this literally, and we'd rather write down exactly how it works than leave you guessing. Here are the terms.

What qualifies

1. A written quote. A PDF, emailed estimate, photo, or screenshot — anything showing the company's name and the price. A number someone told you over the phone isn't something we can verify.
2. From a licensed, insured contractor operating legally in DC, Maryland or Virginia. We're glad to compete on price with people who carry the same licenses, permits, insurance and warranty obligations we do.
3. For comparable work. The same or equivalent equipment — matching capacity, fuel type, and efficiency tier — and the same scope: removal and disposal of the old unit, permits, code-required upgrades, and warranty.
4. For your property, dated within the last 30 days.
5. Given to us before we begin work. Send it with your quote request, or any time before you approve ours.

What doesn't qualify

• Quotes from unlicensed or uninsured providers, or from someone doing the work off the books.
• Quotes for different equipment or a smaller scope — for example, one that excludes the permit, leaves your old tank behind, or skips a code-required upgrade.
• Verbal quotes, quotes we can't verify with the issuing company, or quotes that appear altered.
• Prices tied to a manufacturer rebate, clearance, employee discount, or a promotion that isn't available to you as a regular customer.
• Insurance, warranty, or home-warranty work where a third party sets the price.
• Quotes priced below our own equipment and labor cost. We'll tell you plainly if that's what happened, and show you the difference in scope — usually there is one.

How to claim it

Upload the competitor's quote in our quote form — there's a dedicated spot for it in the photos step — or text it to (571) 721-1508. We'll confirm it qualifies and send you our number the same day.

The fine print, in plain words

The guarantee applies to the final installed price for comparable work. It can't be combined with other discounts or promotions unless we say so in writing. We verify quotes before honoring them, and we reserve the right to decline a quote we can't authenticate — but if we decline yours, we'll tell you exactly why.

If we can't beat a legitimate, comparable quote by 20%, we'll say so honestly and tell you to take the other offer. We'd rather lose the job than talk you into a worse deal.
